Managed service / Manage & improve

Managed Services

Ongoing operation of your network and security estate, with named engineers, measured service levels, an always-on client view and regular governance in the engagement model that suits you.

Managed service · Scope, deliverables and responsibilities agreed before we start.
Ongoing · agreed service levels · always-on view
Named engineers
The people who designed and built your environment are the people who run it.
Measured, visible
Agreed service levels, live visibility of tickets, changes and invoices, and governance you can act on.
Your choice of model
Ad hoc, co-managed or fully as-a-service. Move between them as your needs change.
01 / When would I need this?

Typical triggers.

  • aYou run a network and security estate without enough engineers to operate it well.
  • bPatching, monitoring and changes happen late, or not at all, because projects keep taking priority.
  • cYou want one accountable team for operations, with governance you can show your board.
02 / What Ip.Glass does

Run by the people who build it

Projects end. Networks and security estates do not. Ip.Glass managed services keep your environment operating, patched, monitored and improving, with the same senior engineers who deliver our projects and a service desk that answers around the clock.

We recommend the engagement that fits your requirements and your team, and we expect to earn a long-term relationship on the strength of it.

How we run it

Everything we operate is instrumented, so service levels and change outcomes are measured rather than asserted. We use modern tooling and AI to take the routine out of operations: triage, documentation, reporting and first-pass analysis move faster. A named engineer owns and checks every change and every report before it reaches you. You see the same live view we do: projects, tickets, changes and invoices, in one place, without asking.

Engagement models

Ad hoc support

Based on a pre-paid block of hours. On-demand expertise with no ongoing commitment, from 20 hours, on a best-effort service level. Best for infrequent requirements.

Co-managed

The best of both worlds. A fully managed solution on client-owned equipment with regular governance and reporting and a stringent service level, while your team keeps full or read-only access and stays in control. Our most popular choice.

As-a-service

Lets you focus on the business. Equipment is provided by Ip.Glass and operated to an outcome-focused, stringent service level, with regular governance and reporting. You buy the result, not the hardware.

What is covered

Network operations (NOC), enterprise-wide patching and remediation, ongoing vulnerability management, SIEM and SOAR operation, and the day-to-day administration of your firewall, access and identity estate. See the pages for each service line.
